Photography Project

The Photographers' Gallery have sent us information about a project which may be of interest. It is called Old New Borrowed Blue, and is an online photography gallery encouraging people across the generations and especially older people to upload their favourite wedding photograph and accompanying story, and to browse through the online album of wedding photographs and stories displayed on the website.

Each photograph submitted is displayed by decade, from the mid-19th century, when photography was invented, until the present day. Frocks, flowers and cakes are all be on show, plus special moments whether happy, unusual or solemn.

You can see the gallery and some of the photos and stories already contributed here, where you can upload your own picture or just look at the ones already added.
