Still Listening to the Voice

A questionnaire: “Making a Stronger Voice for Older People in Gateshead”, was produced as a response to a request by the Management Committee of Gateshead Older People’s Assembly, who wanted a follow up to the 2004 “Listening to the Voice” questionnaire.

It was sent out to members in June 2010 and it is hoped the information collected will help the Assembly in developing future activity, including the formation of Branch Assemblies across the borough.

The questionnaire was developed by a steering group of volunteer members of the assembly and staff from the assembly. Everyone was involved in the various tasks depending on their expertise and experience, for example, writing the questions, sending out the questionnaire, analysing the information, and producing the first report.

A first report “Still Listening to the Voice” was distributed to members at the Annual General Meeting on 1st October 2010. The final report is now complete and you can read it by clicking on the link below.
